Background
Western India Floriculture Association (WIFA) is an Association of Flower Growers and Exporters in Western parts of India since 1997.
Over the years, WIFA has opened up new avenues for floriculture awareness with the support of other Floriculture associations like SIFA, NIFA, FGAI, APEDA and other trade and government bodies.
WIFA encourages small farmers in Maharashtra to set-up their own flower producing units, while providing whole-hearted support for technical and marketing inputs.
WIFA & FLOREX INDIA
With its continued emphasis on taking Indian floriculture to global proportions, WIFA has ventured to organize one of India's largest international-level events as FLOREX INDIA 2007.
The three-day event is estimated to attract over 75,000+ visitors from all across the world. Florex India 2007 will showcase a gathering of Floriculture and related companies including : small and big farmers of agri-produce and an array of allied entities; from seeds, pesticides & fertilizer manufacturers, green house experts, air conditioning companies, irrigation and automation systems, agricultural implement makers to logistics providers and government bodies associated with the floriculture trade.
